CHILD SAFETY STANDARDS
Effective: 15 May 2026 · Last updated: 15 May 2026
ZERO TOLERANCE
BladeFeed is committed to maintaining a safe platform and enforcing zero tolerance against child sexual abuse, exploitation, or any harmful behaviour involving minors.
BladeFeed strictly prohibits the following on every surface of our service (web, mobile, public posts, private DMs, profile fields, usernames, and any uploaded media):
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — uploading, possessing, sharing, soliciting, or linking to any image, video, or text depicting minors in a sexual context.
• Grooming — any contact with a minor intended to facilitate sexual abuse, exploitation, or coercion.
• Sexual exploitation of minors — including sextortion, blackmail, the trade of nude or sexualised material of minors, or attempts to arrange offline meetings for sexual purposes.
• Harmful or illegal behaviour involving children — physical violence, threats, encouragement of self-harm, hate speech directed at minors, or any other content endangering a child's safety.
• Sharing or promoting exploitative content — links, hashtags, codes, usernames or content patterns intended to identify, recruit, or normalise the exploitation of minors.
These standards apply globally and without exception. We comply with all applicable child-protection laws including the US PROTECT Act, the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation 2022/2065) and the EU Regulation on combating child sexual abuse online, as well as local equivalents.
When a violation is identified by our moderation team, automated detection systems, or a community report, BladeFeed will take one or more of the following actions:
• Immediate removal of the offending content from the platform.
• Permanent suspension and deletion of the violating account, along with any duplicate or alt accounts.
• Reporting to law enforcement and to the appropriate national CSAM hotline (e.g. NCMEC in the United States, Meldpunt Kinderporno / EOKM in the Netherlands, INHOPE network worldwide) when legally required.
• Preservation of the evidence and account metadata as required by applicable law.
• Cooperation with court orders, subpoenas, and lawful police investigations.
We do not negotiate, warn, or grant second chances for child-safety violations. The account is permanently banned and the user's IP, device fingerprint, and email may be added to a blocklist to prevent re-registration.
Anyone can report harmful content on BladeFeed — including users who are not logged in. Every post, comment, profile, image, video, and direct message has a dedicated report flow.
Reports related to child safety are prioritised over all other categories and reviewed by a trained Trust & Safety specialist, typically within 24 hours. Where applicable, reports are escalated to NCMEC's CyberTipline, INHOPE, or the relevant national authority within the statutory deadline.
You may also email reports directly to support@bladefeed.app with the subject line "CHILD SAFETY REPORT". You can remain anonymous; we will only contact you if we need additional context to act.
BladeFeed combines technology, human review and policy to keep minors safe:
• Proactive content moderation across photos, videos and chat — combining automated detection (hash-matching against known CSAM databases such as PhotoDNA / NCMEC) with human review.
• Mandatory user age confirmation at sign-up; under-13 accounts are not permitted and minors aged 13–17 receive additional default privacy protections.
• Default safe-search, private messaging restrictions for minors, and limits on adult-to-minor direct contact.
• In-app reporting on every post, comment, profile, and direct message, available to anyone — including non-logged-in visitors via the contact email below.
• Trained Trust & Safety team reviewing reports 24/7, with a target first-response time under 24 hours for child-safety reports.
• Continuous monitoring for new abuse patterns and regular policy updates, audited annually.
Parents, carers, educators and skaters under 18 can find independent help and reporting options at:
• National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (US): https://report.cybertip.org
• INHOPE (international hotline network): https://www.inhope.org
• Meldpunt Kinderporno / EOKM (Netherlands): https://www.eokm.nl
• Internet Watch Foundation (UK & worldwide): https://www.iwf.org.uk
• Local emergency services: dial 112 (EU) or your country's equivalent.
