TERMS OF SERVICE
Effective: 10 May 2026 · Last updated: 10 June 2026 (section 3: User Content License clarified)
⚠️ CORE RULE
Users may only upload content they own or have rights to use.
BladeFeed is operated by Andy Durge (sole operator, natural person), based in Heemskerk, Netherlands. By using the app you enter into an agreement with Andy Durge. Contact: support@bladefeed.app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use BladeFeed. In the European Union, the minimum age is 16 (or the age set by your country under GDPR Art. 8 — in the Netherlands this is 16). If you are under the local minimum age, you may only use BladeFeed with verifiable parental consent. Accounts found to belong to under-age users will be removed.
You may only upload content you own or have rights to use. By uploading a clip, photo, audio, or any other media you confirm that you are the rightful owner OR have explicit permission from every rights holder to publish it and to grant the license below.
YOU KEEP OWNERSHIP. You retain all copyright and other intellectual-property rights in everything you upload. BladeFeed never becomes the owner of your content.
LICENSE TO BLADEFEED. By uploading, you grant BladeFeed a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to: (a) host, store, reproduce, and technically process your content; (b) adapt, convert, compress, and transcode it into different formats and resolutions, and generate thumbnails, previews, and crops; (c) publish, display, and distribute it within the BladeFeed app and on bladefeed.app (including public share and profile pages); and (d) use it to promote BladeFeed itself — for example on official BladeFeed social-media channels, in advertisements, trailers, and other marketing materials, with credit to your username where reasonably practical.
SUBLICENSING. This license is sublicensable only to the extent reasonably necessary for the operation, distribution, and promotion described above (e.g. hosting, CDN, transcoding, and distribution service providers acting on our behalf).
WHEN YOU DELETE. If you delete content (or your account), the license ends for that content and we stop actively using it: it is removed from the app and public pages, and swept from our sitemaps. The license survives only for (i) routine backups until they cycle out, (ii) promotional material already published or produced before deletion, and (iii) copies we must retain to comply with legal obligations. You can ask us to also remove your content from our own promotional channels via support@bladefeed.app, and we will honour that where reasonably possible.
All video uploads are scanned for copyrighted music using third-party fingerprinting (AudD). When a match is detected, the upload is blocked and the temporary asset is destroyed. We make no guarantee of perfect detection — manual reports remain essential.
Any user can flag a clip via the in-app Report button (Copyright / Audio / Stolen Clip / Other). Rights holders may submit a Takedown Request including their full legal name, contact email, and (optionally) proof of ownership. Submitting false claims may result in account termination and legal action. Under EU DSA Art. 16, all notices are reviewed and you will be informed of the outcome. EU users can appeal moderation decisions via support@bladefeed.app.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account. Do not share login credentials. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access via the support email below.
No harassment, hate speech, doxxing, threats, sexually explicit content, illegal activity, content depicting violence against minors (CSAM), spam, scraping, or automated abuse. We reserve the right to remove content and accounts at our discretion. Content visibility may be reduced ("throttled") for accounts violating these rules; you will be informed via in-app notification.
Crew owners and admins are responsible for the conduct of their crew and the content posted to it. Verified Crew status is granted at our discretion and may be revoked.
Merch is fulfilled by Printify. Refunds, shipping, and order issues are handled per Printify's standard policies. We are not liable for printing errors, delivery delays, or third-party fulfillment issues beyond our control. EU consumers retain their statutory 14-day right of withdrawal where applicable under EU consumer law.
We collect the minimum data needed to operate the app (email, username, content, engagement). We do not sell your data. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown of what we collect, why, and your GDPR rights. Privacy contact: support@bladefeed.app.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account (7-day grace period, then permanent).
BladeFeed is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Andy Durge is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where the law does not allow limitation (e.g. for gross negligence, intent, or under mandatory consumer protection laws).
These Terms may be updated. Material changes will be announced in-app with at least 14 days notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Netherlands. Any disputes shall be brought before the competent courts of Netherlands, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply. EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
